For many applications, wind speed and direction are critical parameters. Therefore Observator offers a wide range of wind alarm systems, which can be used for crane and heavy lift operations, for example at container terminals. But also at tourist attractions such as the Euromast in Rotterdam, the Netherlands en the Londen Eye in Londen, England.
Furthermore, Observator is able to supply complete wind alarm systems for tankers, which have to comply with MESQAC regulations, set by ExxonMobil. A tanker should be fitted with an anemometer display / monitoring repeater with a recorder (paper or digital), which is available in the control room, and designed to give a minimum of two pre-set alarm limits. This alarm should drive an audible and visual alarm in the control room and on deck, if the set limits are exceeded.
