Observator Vision has supplied Wynn Straightline window wipers with the extra heavy duty arms and 1800mm blade configuration for tugboat Telstar, built by Holland Shipyard, which is operating at the Noordzee canal in The Netherlands.
Both of Telstar’s thrusters are mounted in alignment under the fuselage – one under the prow and one under the stern, giving Telstar extensive manoeuvering capabilities. Another unique feature of the Telstar is that it is an hybrid tugboat; a combination of diesel direct and diesel electric propulsion ensures that it will consume less fuel, contributing to reducec CO2 emissions.
