Angle measurement for anchor chains with a clinometer (inclinometer), this to take care that Turrets or Platforms are positioned correctly with the right anchor chain angles to the anchors on the sea bottom.
The Angle Indicator gives the information about the angle of the Anchor Chain; in this case an existing Turret which has to be relocated.
The divers read the OMC-6050 Angle Indicator, and they inform the repositioning team to change (or not) the location of the Anchor on the end of the Chain, to obtain the correct position forces on the Turret.
